After a long battle with Cancer, Vivian L. (Costa) Silva, age 61, passed away April 19, 2008 in the arms of her husband Donald daSilva. She was the daughter of Frank and Jeannette (Richard) Costa of North Dartmouth. She is also survived by her daughter Lisa Morgan and her husband Tim of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and a son Christopher of Lawton, OK. and his son Devon of Ida Oberstein, Germany, her cousins and best friends Lorretta Hevey and her husband Joseph "Normand" and several other cousins in Holyoke and Wareham Ma. and Pa. She graduated from St. Anthony High School and was employed for many years with Liberty Auto Ins., and Guarantee Fund in Taunton as a claims adjuster and supervisor and more recently with Homesite of Boston. She was a member of the Dartmouth Horse Assn., the Lincoln Park Roller Skating Club and was known as one of the "Two Fleas" at New Bedford Antiques and the Norton and Brimfield Flea Markets. She loved being with her family, gardening, bird watching, and browsing the local antique and craft shops, Saturday yard sales and Sunday rides for ice cream in their cherry red 48 Ford with her beloved Schnauzer "Lady". She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Silva’s funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St, Thursday at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church, Dartmouth, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
