John Costa

New Bedford-John Costa age 58 years died Friday at St. Luke’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Medeiros) Costa of Acushnet. He was the father of Jason Costa of Shirley, MA. He has several brothers and sisters. He is also survived by a special niece Lorraine Duarte of Dartmouth and several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Costa was the son of the late Edwin and Olivia (Stone) Costa. He was a life long resident of this area. He was a machinist for New England Plastics. He was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan.

Mr. Costa will have visiting hours on Monday from 7-9 P.M. At the
request of the family “PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS”. Services are private.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
