Inez P. Goulart

New Bedford- Inez P. (Arruda) Goulart age 83 died Monday March 30, 2008 unexpectedly; She was the beloved wife of Edwin Goulart of New Bedford. Mother of David Goulart and his wife Ann and Thomas J. Goulart and his wife Peggy both of New Bedford. Sister of Joseph P. Arruda, Beatrice P. Arruda and Irene Mello all of New Bedford. Grandmother of Steven T. Goulart of New Bedford and Tara L. Ford and her husband Garrett of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Goulart was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Julia P. (Sylvia) Arruda. She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was a special machine operator at Abetta Sportswear until her retirement. She was a member of the New Creation Prayer Group of Mt. Carmel Church.

Mrs. Goulart’s Funeral will be at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday, at 8 A.M. With a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5-8 P.M.
