John Demello

Dartmouth - John DeMello, age 62, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, unexpectedly at home. He was the brother of George DeMello of South Dartmouth, Antone Mello of New Bedford, Philbert Mello of South Carolina, Rose Ann Sousa of South Dartmouth, Marion Reid of North Dartmouth and the late Joseph Mello. Mr. DeMello is also survived by several nieces and nephews great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. DeMello was a son of the late John Mello and Mary “Inez” (Furtado) Mello. He was born in Nordeste, St. Michael, Azores, moved to Dartmouth and lived their all his life. Mr DeMello was a landscaper with Dartmouth Landscaping and was a member of the Portuguese American Social Club.

Mr. DeMello's funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Friday at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church, in Dartmouth, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
