Agnes (Sylvia) Collet

New Bedford- Agnes (Sylvia) Collet age 74 years died Friday March 21, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Donald B. Collet of New Bedford. Mrs. Collet was the mother of Michael D. Collet and James Collet of Dartmouth, AnnMarie Collet and Donna Collet of New Bedford, Jeanne Martins of Mattapoisett, and she was the sister of Theresa Tate of Plymouth, Robert Sylvia of Louisiana and the late George Sylvia and Alfred Sylvia. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Collet was the daughter of the late Manuel A. and Salvina (Sylvia) Sylvia. She was a life long New Bedford resident. She was employed as a schoolteacher at DeValles School for the past 29 years.

Mrs. Collet ’s Funeral is From the Perry Funeral Home Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Monday from 6-8 P.M.
