Michael D. Santos

Somerset – Michael D. Santos, age 51 years, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of the late Linda (Jackson) Santos. Mr. Santos was the father of Trisha Rodriquez of New Bedford, Deanna Yahres of Holden, MA and Rachael Dietz of Southboro, MA. He was the brother of Ted Santos of New Bedford and also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Santos was a son of Oscar Santos and the late Silvina (Cordeiro) Santos. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area most of his life. He had moved to Somerset, Ma. and was employed there as a car salesman.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.

Religious Services with the ashes present will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with clergy and at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Poulin. Visitation will take place prior to the service, starting at 9 A.M. Burial of ashes will follow at St. John Cemetery.
