Dorothy Lorraine (Souza) Lima

Falmouth, MA, Dorothy Lorraine Lima age 89 years, died March 2, 2008 at the Royal Megansett Nursing Home in North Falmouth. She was the widow of Antone “Twee” Lima. Mother of Marlene A. Eusebio and her husband Stephen M. of New Bedford and Joyce B. Enos and her husband Edward G. of Falmouth. She was the loving grandmother of Stephen Eusebio Jr, Scott Eusebio, Shawn Eusebio, and Susan Teles, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Sophie Torres of Falmouth, MA., and the late Mary Lewis, Amelia Duarte, Joseph Souza, Lillian Souza, Leona Souza, Evelyn Perry, Hilda Vanasse, and Mabel Souza. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lima was the daughter of the late Maria J. (Amaral) and Joseph Souza born in New Bedford and lived here most her life. She worked as an Assembler at Cornell-Dubilier until her retirement. Mrs. Lima liked to write poetry, enjoyed word puzzles, camping, music and dancing. She especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Church of New Bedford,until it’s closing, and St. Patrick’s Church in Falmouth.

Mrs. Lima’s Funeral will be Wednesday March 5th, from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.at 9:45 A.M., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church 494 Slocum Rd. Dartmouth, MA. at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday March 4th, from 6-8 P.M.
