Maria B. Senna-Pimentel

New Bedford- Maria B. Senna-Pimentel died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Jose A. Pimentel of New Bedford and wife of the late Raymond Senna. Mrs. Senna-Pimentel was the mother of Ayres Gonzales of New Bedford, Julia Pina of Jersey City, NJ. and Maria Pacheco of Dartmouth. She was the sister of the late Joseph Baptista. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a niece.

Mrs. Senna-Pimentel was a daughter of the late Antonio J. and Julia (Andrade) Baptista. She was born in Brava, Cape Verde Island and lived in this area most of her life. She was employed as a machine operator at Columbia Electronics.

Mrs. Senna-Pimentel's Funeral will be Thursday at 8:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited.
