Rita (Carbonneau) Nunes

New Bedford-Rita (Carbonneau) Nunes age 77 years, died Sunday January 20, 2008 unexpectedly at St. Like’s Hospital. She was the wife of Arthur “Archie” Nunes. She was the mother of Doreen Rose and her husband Donald of New Bedford. She was the Grandmother of Tracy Rose and her Fiancée Michael Horton of New Bedford. She was the Great-grandmother of Tyler and Marissa. She was the sister of Terry Boyer of New Bedford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Nunes was the daughter of the late Stanley and Alma (Rathe) Carbonneau. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. She was a stitcher at Pierce Garments and other various clothing manufactures.

Services will be Thursday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 7:45 P.M. during visiting hours, which will be from 6-8 P.M. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. In lieu of Flowers a donation made be made in her memory to the family.
