Roberto L. Martinez

Middleboro, MA.-Robert L. Martinez age 60 years died Thursday December 13, at Nemasket Health Care Center, after a long illness. He was the loved father of Joseph Lebron, Robert Martinez, Nelson Martinez, Josie Martinez, and Irene Martinez all of New Beford, MA. He was the loved brother of Aida Martinez, Miriam Watkins, and Sonia Martinez, of New Bedford, and the late brother of Nelson Martinez, and Olga “Candy” Soto. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the mother of his children Nereida Rodriguez.

Mr. Martinez was the son of the late Epifanio and Irene (Colon) Martinez. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was employed at F&B Rubber until his illness.

Mr. Martinez’s services will take place Monday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 11 A.M.. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-7 P.M.
