Ventura, CA. Frank Charles Bettencourt died Thursday December 6th unexpectedly at the home of his daughter. He was the beloved widow of Patricia (Ponte) Bettencourt. He was the father of Susan Boyd of Ventura, Frank “Chuck” Bettencourt of Norton, and Michael Bettencourt of Lynn, Frank was the loved grandfather of Jennine, Brandon, Karissa, Brian, Erica, Michelle, Michael, Matthew, and Marty, with 5 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Albert Bettencourt of CA., John Bettencourt of Las Vegas, and the late George Bettencourt, Ruth Tibbles, and Betty Fernandes. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Bettencourt was the son of the late John J. and Ellen I. (Barton) Bettencourt. He worked for Hewlett Packard Company for 35 years in their shipping and receiving department.He was a member of the Lion's Club of Fremont NH. He was the proprietor of the Exeter River Camping Area. He was a U.S.Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Bettencourt’s Funeral will be Friday with Services at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St., at 9 A.M. Pastor Adam Houston will officiate with the religious service starting promptly at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at South Dartmouth Cemetery with full military honors. Visiting hours will be Thursday 2-4, & 6-8 P.M.
