John R. Pacheco Jr.

New Bedford MA, John R. Pacheco Jr. age 73 years, died December 5, at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Diane A. Pacheco of New Bedford. He was the father of Ronald Pacheco of Dartmouth, Robert Pacheco husband of Diane of New Bedford, John Derrick Pacheco husband of Debbie of Dartmouth, and Brian Pacheco of New Bedford, Debbie Pacheco of Fall River, stepfather of Christine Lynn wife of David Buck of Dartmouth, Lori Ann Medeiros her friend Carmine of New Bedford, and Debbie wife of Richard Goulart of Dartmouth. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pacheco was the son of the late John R. and Mary (Sylvia) Pacheco, and he lived in this area all of his life. He was a former member of Moose Lodge 914 for 19 yrs and served as governor and many other offices at the lodge, He also made many friends as a member of the moose. He was the owner of J+L Enterprise Inc. His Lifetime Love and Hobby was Antique Cars. He was in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

His Funeral Service will be Monday at Perry Funeral Home at 10 A.M Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday From 4-7 P.M. In lieu pf Flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society Centralized Memorial Processing Center 30 Speen St Framingham, Ma 01701.
