Donald R. Wingrove

New Bedford MA- Donald R. Wingrove died aged 74, Wednesday October 30, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital after long illness. He was the former husband on Ruth O. (Thomas) Wingrove of South Dartmouth, MA. He was the father of Emma Joyce Savaria of Fall River MA., Donna M. Wingrove of South Dartmouth, MA., and Barbara Wingrove of Lancaster, PA. He was the grandfather of April Gagne, Rylee Gagne, and Brian Savaria, and he was the great-grandfather of Brittany Gagne, Rylee Gagne, Daniel Connors, Jake Savaria, and Alexandria Maul. He was the brother of Ann Carr of Virginia and the late John Wingrove. Also survived by 2 nieces

Mr. Wingrove was the son of the late John R. and Ann (Nixon) Wingrove. He was born in New Castle, PA., and lived in the New Bedford area most of his life. He loved playing his guitar and writing songs for his family. He was Formally employee as a Machine Operator at Revere Copper & Brass for 36 years. He was a US. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict..

Mr. Wingrove’s Religious Services will be on Monday November 5, 2007 at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 1 P.M. with burial to follow with full military honors at Rural Cemetery. His visitation will be prior to services, starting at Noon.
