Antone "Tony Smoke" Silva

Wareham, MA.-Antone “Tony Smoke" Silva died September 19, 2007 at the Forest View Nursing Facility. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly (Peet) Silva. He was the father of Rebecca Bingham of Mashpee, MA. He was the loved grandfather of Peter “PJ” Bingham Jr., and Anthony “Tony” Bingham. He was the brother of Joanna Rebeirio of RI., Louise Oliveira of New Bedford, Dominga Payne of CA., and the late Julia Fortes, Mary Rebeiro and Albert “Smokey” Silva. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Silva was the son of the late Candido and Andreza (Rebeirio) Silva. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated. His ashes will receive full Military Honors at private burial services at Massachusetts National Cemetery .
