Nuno Costa

New Bedford – Nuno Costa, aged 54 years, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at home. He was the father of Kevin Costa of Assonet. Mr. Costa was the brother of Ligia Sousa of N. Dartmouth, Pauline Goncalves of New Bedford and Fatima Gaudencio of Dartmouth. He is also survived by a grandson, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Costa was a son of the late Domingos L. and Filomena (Melo) Costa. He was born in St. Michael, Salga, Azores and lived in this area since 1963. Mr. Costa was a cutodian at the N.B. Vocational-Technical H.S. and was formerly a manager at Cliftex.

Mr. Costa’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., Monday, September 17, 2007 at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, Padanaram at 9 A.M. Visiting Hours will be Sunday from 5 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery
