Margaret P."Margarida" Arruda

New Bedford-Margaret P. “Margarida” Arruda age 94 years died Wednesday August 29, 2007 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home.
She was the sister of Louis P. Arruda of New Jersey, and the late Virginia P., Antone P., Gilda P., Cecelia C. Arruda. She is also survived by 2 nieces.

Mrs. Arruda was the daughter of the late Manuel P. and Maria (Faria) Arruda. She was a life long New Bedford resident. She was a Nurse’s Aide at St. Luke’s Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, and the Forever Young Club of St. John’s Church, and Our Lady of the Angels in Fairhaven.

Mrs. Arruda’s Funeral is From the Perry Funeral Home Tuesday at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Monday from 1-3 P.M.
