Dorothy A. (Rose) Figueiredo

New Bedford - Dorothy A. (Rose) Figueiredo, aged 88 years, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital. She was the mother of Kenneth Figueiredo of E. Sandwich. Mrs. Figueiredo was the sister of Jeanette Lapin of New Jersey, grandmother of Diane M. Pitney of Hubbardston, MA,, great-grandmother of Isabel and James Pitney and the aunt of David, Jeffrey and Allison Lapin.

Mrs. Figueiredo was the daughter of the late Manuel P. and Alice (Cyr) Rose. She was born in Burlington, VT. and lived in this area most of her life.

Mrs. Figueiredo’s funeral will be Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the mass.
