Alzira Almeida

Dartmouth Alzira Almeida aged 86 years, passed away August 13, 2007 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth after a long illness. She was the sister of Mary Vaillancourt of New Bedford, and the late Manuel Almada, and Frank Almeida. She is also survived by 1 niece and 2 nephews.

Ms. Almeida was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Madeira) Almeida, she lived in this area all of her life.

Ms. Almeida’s funeral will take place from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.Friday at 7:45 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
