Philip C. Proctor Jr.

New Bedford-Philip C. Proctor Jr. aged 79 years died Monday July 2, at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of Sylvia (Teixeira) Proctor of New Bedford. He was the father of Kelly Rapoza of New Bedford, Lisa Proctor and her companion George Dearing of New Bedford. He was the grandfather of Nathan Rapoza and his companion Sonia Soares, Alexis Proctor, and Phillip Proctor.

Mr. Proctor was the son of the late Philip C. and Hattie (Mottram) Proctor. He was born in Auburn, ME.He has lived in this area since 1967. He was the retired owner and captain of the fishing vessel Seacoast I. He was a Staff Sergeant with the U.S.Marine Corps during the Korean Conflic.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
