Humberto Manuel Demedeiros

New Bedford –Humberto Manuel DeMedeiros, age 46, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Ana (Silva) DeMedeiros of New Bedford. He was the father of Ana DeMedeiros of New Bedford. Mr. DeMedeiros was the brother of Fernando Rodrigues of California. He was the son-in-law of Maria De Fatima Silva and brother-in-law of Arselina Lavia, Paticia Gonsalves, Dale Silva, Lavra Silva, Paul Silva, and Robert Silva. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. DeMedeiros was the son of the late Humberto Vicente and Etelvina (DaSilva) DeMedeiros. He was born in Horta Faial, Angustias, Portugal and has lived in this area for the last 20 years. He was a member of Nuclier Sport Club and enjoyed playing soccer. He was employed as a carpenter for A+C dry wall.

Mr. DeMedeiros’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9 A.M. on Saturday. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
