Angelina M. (Medeiros) Cosme

New Bedford - Angelina M. (Medeiros) Cosme, aged 87 years, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Manuel M.Cosme. Mrs.Cosme was the mother of Donald J. Cosme and Odete Mendonca both of Dartmouth, Jake Cosme of Lakeville and Luby Feyen of Leamington, Ontario, Canada. She was the grandmother of Ruby Chece, Sueann Costa, Jessie Cosme, Donald Cosme Jr., Walter Mendonca, William Mendonca, Catherine Linhares, Sandra Rogers, Kimberly Feyen and Candice Cosme. Mrs. Cosme was the sister of Francelina Garrido of Taunton and Francisco Medeiros of Portugal. She was also sister of the late Manuel, Jose, Antonio and Lourdes Medeiros, Rosalina Marques and Hortance Ventura.

Mrs. Cosme was born in St. Michael, Azores and lived in this area for 45 years . She was a daughter of Francisco Jacinto Medeiros and Francelina (Pacheco) Medeiros. Mrs. Cosme worked as a tailor-seamstress for Mar Lyn Clothing.

Mrs. Cosme's funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Friday at 8 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 6 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
