Irene Rose

New Bedford –Irene Rose, age 92, died Sunday, June 17, 2007 in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was the widow of John Rose. She was the loving mother of John Rose of Rapid City, South Dakota, and loving sister of Leona Souza of New Bedford. She is also survived by 3 nieces.

Mrs Rose was the daughter of the late Leonilda (Souza) and Manuel Costa. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in the New Bedford area until moving to South Dakota a few years ago.

Mrs Rose’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be 1 hour prior to the Church Service, Relatives and friends are invited.
