Jose Oliveira

New Bedford –Jose Oliveira age 61, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at home. He was the husband of Maria J. (Cunha) Oliveira of New Bedford. He was the loving father of Rosa wife of Dennis Branco of New Bedford, Jose husband of Conceicao Oliveira Jr of New Bedford, and Manuel Oliveira of New Bedford. Mr. Oliveira was the brother of Alexandrina Salgado Oiveira of Portugal and the late Rose Alexandrina Salgado He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren Michael, Brittany, Nicholas, Nathan and Marina and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Oliveira was the son of the late Manuel Maria and Rosalina (Salgado) Oliviera. He was born in Murtosa, Portugal. He has lived in the New Bedford area since 1983. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching his favorite soccer team sporting. Mr. Oliveira was a landscaper for De Mello Brothers

Mr. Oliveira’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
