Edward C. Frias

Dartmouth-Edward C. Frias aged 80 years died Sunday March 11th at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. He was the beloved husband of Mildred (Mello) Frias of Dartmouth. He was the father of Patricia A. Medeiros and her husband Albert of South Dartmouth, Laurie J. Frias of West Palm Beach, FL., Michael E. Frias of Las Vegas, NV. He was the brother of Ernest Frias of North Dartmouth, Ray Frias of New Bedford, Florence Mello of South Dartmouth, Lillian Frias of Orlando, Fl., and the late Mae Correia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Frias was the son of the late Manuel C. and Mary C. (Rogers) Frias. He was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Mr. Frias Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home Thursday at 9:15 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church South Dartmouth, at 10:30 A.M. Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
