Manuel Jacinto Macaroco

New Bedford- Manuel Jacinto Macaroco age 85 died Thursday February 1, 2007 at home surrounded by his family, after a long illness. He was the husband of Maria (Joanna) Macaroco of New Bedford. He was the father Antonio Macaroco, Carlos Macaroco, Eduardo Macaroco all of New Bedford, John Macaroco of Acushnet, Maria Santo Cristo Calheta, Ana Catarina Araujo all of New Bedford. He was the stepfather Cecilia Pimentel. Brothers and sisters are all deceased, 17 grandchildren and 8great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews

Mr. Macaroco was the son of Jose and Maria do Rosario (Paucha) Macaroco. He was born in St. Michael, Azores and He lived in this area since 1972. He was a Fisherman.

Mr. Macaroco’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home Saturday February 3, 2007 at 10 A.M. with a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11 A.M. Visiting hours will be Friday February 2nd from 6-8 P.M. He will be buried at St. John Cemetery.
