Mary (Pacheco) Vera

Taunton-Mary (Pacheco) Vera died Friday January 26, 2007, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Vera. She is survived by a daughter Anne L. Leddy of E. Taunton. 2 sons Lawrence J. Vera of Pebble Beach, CA. and James L. Vera of Los Osso, CA., 2 sisters Laura Carreiro and Dorothy L. Rapoza both of South Dartmouth, She was the sister of the late Antone Pacheco . She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Vera was the daughter of the late Laura (Perry) and Joseph Pacheco. She was employed as a Cosmetologist at Cherry & Webb Department Store and Macedo’s Pharmacy, and Reca’s Pharmacy. She was a Representative of Charles of the Ritz For Cherry and Webb in Cosmetics. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area most of her life until moving to Taunton in 1980.

Mrs. Vera Service will be from the Perry Funeral Home Monday at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends should meet here for 11:00 A.M. on Monday. Her visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Burial will be at South Dartmouth Cemetery.
