Carlos Aresta

New Bedford- Carlos Aresta age 33 died Thursday January 25, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Cathy (Menard) Aresta of New Bedford. He is also survived by 1 son Carlos Aresta of Taunton, MA., a stepson Jayson Lima of New Bedford and a stepdaughter Kallie Lima of New Bedford. A sister Malissa Miguel of New Bedford, and his mother in law Joyce Menard, and 2 nieces.

Mr. Aresta was the son of Ana (Oliveira) Aresta and Fernando Aresta of Port St. Lucy, Florida. He was born in Waterbury, CT. and lived in the New Bedford area for 28 yrs. He was a laborer with various construction companies.

Mr. Aresta Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home Monday January 29, 2007 at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Visiting hours will be Sunday January 28th from 5-8 P.M. He will be buried at Rural Cemetery.
