Manuel Rapoza

Willamantic, CT.-Manuel Rapoza age 43, died at Winham Memorial Hospital unexpectedly Sunday January 21, 2007. He was the father of Nathan Rapoza of New Bedford. He was the brother of Raymond Rapoza, Maria Ferreira, and Deborah Sousa all of New Bedford, and the late Theresa F. Ferreira. He was the companion of Marsha Spinner of Willamantic, CT., and the former husband of Kelly (Rice) Rapoza of New Bedford. A niece, and 2 nephews also survive him.

Mr. Rapoza was the son Hilda F. (Furtado) Raposo of New Bedford, and the late Manuel P. Raposo. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area most of his life. He was a laborer with a construction company.

Mr. Rapoza Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday January 27th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. visiting hours will be Friday January 26th from 4-8 P.M. He will be buried will be at St. John Cemetery.
