New Bedford- Rosalina Emilia (Silveira)Escobar age 94 years, died Thursday January 18, 2007 at Sacred Heart Home. She was beloved wife of the late Manuel Escobar. She was the mother of Manuel and his wife Ana Escobar of Dartmouth MA., and Eduardo and his wife Angelina Escobar of New Bedford, MA.

Mrs. Escobar was born in Fayal, Azores Portugal. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Escobar’s Funeral will be Monday January 22, 2007 at 8 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, New Bedford, followed by a burial at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 7-9 P.M.
