Alan Santos

New Bedford - Alan Arthur Santos, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007, age 54, at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of Margie (Gomes) Santos of New Bedford and the late Julio J. Santos. He is survived by his brother Joseph J. Santos, of New Bedford, as well as several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, godchildren, great nieces and great nephews, and many cousins.

Mr. Santos was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford and Boston most of his life. He was a Communications Radio Operator in the U.S. Navy and after being honorably discharged he worked at Harlem Hospital in N.Y.C. in the Radiology Dept. and also in Criminal Investigations in Washington D.C.. His last occupation was a Cardiology Technician at Jamaica Plains Hospital

Funeral from the Perry Funeral Home Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 p.m.
