Marie Fortes

New Bedford, MA. –Marie Fortes., age 75, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John Fortes. She was the mother Robert Wilson of Fairhaven, MA., Linda Wilson of Canada, Diane Roberts of Arizona, Debra Costa , Michael Wilson, Lisa Saulnier, Susan Wilson, Lynn Wilson, Joey Wilson all of New Bedford, MA., and of the late Stephen Wilson. Mrs. Fortes was the sister of Nelson and Jeannette Theberge of Canada. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Fortes was born in Canada the daughter of the late Albert and Frebonia (Longchamps) Theberge. She had lived in New Bedford since 1955

Mrs. Fortes’s relatives and friends are invited to the Perry Funeral Home on 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday January 4, 2007. Visiting hours are 5-8 P.M.

In accordance to her wishes she will be cremated.
