Patricia Magan

BOSTON — Patricia Magan aged 64 years, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a brief illness, with her loving family at her side.

She was the beloved wife of Franklin C. Magan, the mother of Susan Marie Magan of Illinois, and William David Magan and his wife Colleen of Norwood. Grandmother of Samantha Grace Magan of Norwood. Sister of Deborah Andrews and her husband Russell of Spring Hill, FL, Gus Botelho and his wife Beverly of Brookline Station, MO, sister Linda Vasconcellos and her husband Ron of Gilford, NH, and Richard Saya of New Bedford. Sister-in-law of Richard L. Magan of New Bedford. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

She was mother of the late Scott Patrick Magan, sister of the late Robert, Kenneth and Ann Marie Correia, and step-daughter of the late Manuel Tavares.

Mrs. Magan was the daughter of Laura (Lopes) Tavares of So. Dartmouth and the late Henry Galligo. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. She was formerly employed by J. C. Rhodes as an accounting clerk.

Her funeral will be Saturday, December 30, 2006, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, on County St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Friday December 29, 2006 from 5 to 8 P.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
