David George Cosmo

Berkley, MA – David George Cosmo died Monday December 26, 2006 unexpectedly at William H. Backus hospital in Norwich Connecticut. He was the husband of Priscilla L. (Cruz) Cosmo of Berkley, MA for 47 years. He is survived by 2 daughters: Bonnie Demoranville and her husband Kevin of New Bedford, and Michele Cabral of Ashland,MA. 3 grandchildren Mistique, Rena, and Sheena. Brothers John Joe Jack Jeff, Jesse and Randy Cosmo and Sammy and George Niles. Sisters Donna Cosmo and Starr Savadore. He is also survived by 9 great grand and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cosmo was born in New Bedford and lived in this area until 1976 when he moved to Berkley, MA. He was the son of Anna (Vieira) Niles and Sam Niles both of New Bedford. He was a Commercial Fisherman for several local fishing vessels out of the New Bedford Pier for 47 years.

Mr. Cosmos funeral services will be Friday December 29 , 2006, at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 1 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery.
