Robert Carreiro

New Bedford – Robert Carreiro, age 33, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006. He was the son of Maria C. (Aguiar) Vaz of New Bedford and Robert J. Carreiro of S. Yarmouth and the step son of Ilidio Vaz of New Bedford and Leanne Carreiro of S. Yarmouth, the father of Phoenix Carreiro of New Bedford, brother of Reggie C. Carreiro, his wife Elizabeth of New Bedford, Adam Carreiro of S. Yarmouth, Leo Vaz of New Bedford and Jonelle O. Carreiro of S. Yarmouth, the maternal grandson of Cisaltina Aguiar, and paternal grandson of Evaristo Carreiro and was also the uncle of Diego E. Carreiro.

Mr. Carreiro was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Carreiro was a floor manager at one of the areas entertainment clubs.

Visitig Hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 AM with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 AM,

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be accepted on behalf of his daughter, Phoenix J. Carreiro’s trust fund.
