Floriano Medeiros

New Bedford- Floriano Medeiros age 71 years, died unexpectedly Sunday December 10, 2006 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. He was the beloved husband of the late Arnaldina (Pereira) Medeiros. He was the father of Joseph and his wife Zelia Medeiros of Taunton, MA. He was the loving grandfather of Christopher, and Kimberly Medeiros. He was the brother of Ortemizio Medeiros of Sao Miguel Acores, and the late Gilberto, Carlos, and Antero “Ted” Medeiros. Several nieces, and nephews also survived him.

Mr. Medeiros was the son of the late Carlos and Maria deLourdes (Sousa) Medeiros. He was born in Sao Miguel, Acores and lived here since 1966. He was a presser with various textile mills.

Mr. Medeiros Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday December 13, 2006 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, New Bedford. Visiting hours will be Tuesday December 12, 2006 from 7-9 P.M.
