New Bedford, Prim M. Branquinho aged 79 yrs, passed away Monday November 20, 2006, at New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital after a brief illness. He was the Husband of Maria G. (Craveiro) Branquinho, Father of Tina Costa of Dartmouth, George Branquinho of New Bedford, Arlene Esteireiro of New Bedford, Robert Branquinho of New Bedford, Thomas Branquinho of New Bedford, Late Sons David, Gilbert and Joseph Branquinho, 15 Grandchildren and 10 Greatgrandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews a Brother Manuel de Ponte and Sister Albertina Pacheco both deceased

Mr. Branquinho was born in Aqua do Pau, St. Miguel, Azores and lived in this area sence 1960 He was a Son of Prim and Gloria (de Ponte) de Ponte. He was formerly employed as a Lumper in the area Fishing Industry.

His Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home at 8 A.M. Saturday November 25, 2006 with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be 5 to 8 P.M., on Friday.
