Olga "Candy" Soto

New Bedford–Olga “Candy” (Martinez) Soto age 52 years, died Sunday November 19, 2006 at home, after a long illness. She was the loving mother of Angel L. Soto, Carmen Acevedo, and Iris Aida Acevedo all of New Bedford. She was the sister of Aida Martinez, Robert Martinez, Miriam Watkins, and Sonia Martinez, all of New Bedford, and sister of the late Nelson Martinez. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Soto was the daughter of the late Epifanio and Irene (Colon) Martinez she was born in Brooklyn, New York and has lived here for 26 years.

Funeral from the Perry Funeral Home Friday at 9 AM with a Service at 10 AM. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday November 23, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. Burial will take place at Rural Cemetery.
