Onesimo Delgado

New Bedford-Onesimo Delgado age 63, died Saturday November 11, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital unexpectedly. He was the husband of Joana (Gomes) Delgado of New Bedford. He was the father of Renato and Maurice Delgado both of New Bedford, Vera Marshall of New Bedford, Nina Pellegrino of Dartmouth, Jane Delgado, Maria Delgado-Barbosa, and Lisa Delgado all of New Bedford. He was the brother of Amelia Leite of Holland, Jacinta Oliveira, Deodarto and Manuel Delgado all of Cape Verde Island, and the late Perpetua Delgado, and Maria Constantina Delgado. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Delgado was a Machinist at Brodeur Machine Company and has worked for them for over 25 years.

Services will be Tuesday November 14th at 11 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Visiting hours will be Monday from 5-8 P.M. Burial will follow services at St. John Cemetery
