Laudalina (Simoes) Da Rocha

New Bedford-Laudalina Da Rocha died Wednesday November 8th at Brandon Woods of New Bedford after a brief illness. She was the widow of Manuel F. Da Rocha. She was the mother of Manuel Da Rocha of New Bedford, Dorvalino Da Rocha of Taunton, Oldemiro Da Rocha, Paul Da Rocha, and Bento Da Rocha all of New Bedford. She was the sister of Manuel, Luidino, and Jose Simoes all of Sao Miguel, Azores, and Diamantino Simoes of Canada. Ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild, and several nieces, and nephews also survived her.

Mrs. Da Rocha was the daughter of the late Manuel and Henrietta (Medeiros) Simoes. She was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, and lived here since 1970.

Mrs. Da Rocha Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday November 13th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Visiting hours will be Sunday12th from 5-8 P.M. She will be buried will be at St. John Cemetery.
