Maria Teresinha Fialho

New Bedford- Maria Teresinha Fialho died Thursday September 7, 2006 at Nichols House Nursing Home after a long illness. She was formerly of Rochester, MA. She was the former wife of Jose Alberto Fialho. She was the mother of Jose Alberto Fialho Jr. of Florida. She was the daughter of Maria Correia of New Bedford. 4 sisters, Maria Bernadette Correia of New Bedford, Maria da Conceicao Cardoso of New Bedford, Maria Fatima wife of Rodney Harville of Florida, Maria Lourdes Correia of Belmont, MA. A brother, James Manuel husband of Jerri Correia of Rochester. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews, and godchildren. She was the sister of the late Jose Francisco Correia Jr.

Mrs Fialho was born in Horta, Faial, Azores she was the daughter of Maria (Pires) Correia and the late Jose Francisco Correia. She lived in this area most of her life. She was a shop steward for Mar-Li and she was also a Nurses Aide @ Our Lady’s Haven. Mrs. Fialho loved to play bingo.

Mrs. Fialho’s Funeral will be at 8:00 A.M. Saturday from the Perry Funeral Home with a Mass at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Visiting hours will be Friday September 8, 2006 from 6-9 P.M. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Burial of her Ashes will be Private
