Antoinette L. Aspden

New Bedford MA.,- Antoinette L. Aspden 97- died on Tuesday September 5, 2006, at Taber Street Nursing & Rehabilitation Center New Bedford MA. Mrs. Aspden was the wife of the late James W. Aspden. She was the mother of Donald J. and his wife Gloria (Sabino) Aspden of Dartmouth MA. She was the sister of the late Emile Marchessault, Gerard Marchessault, Beatrice Hoban, and Yvonne Duce. She was the grand mother of Monica L. wife of Derek Maranhas of New Bedford MA., and great-grandmother of Benjamin Maranhas and Parker Maranhas.

Mrs. Aspden was the daughter of the late Jean B. A. and Marie Louise (Beauchamp) Marchessault. She was previously employed as the head waitress of the former Stevenson's Restaurant Westport, until her retirement in the late 1970's. During her retiremernt she became an avid follower of Mother Angelica on television and spent numerous hours following her telecast.

Her funeral will be Friday September 8, 2006, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, on County St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday September 7, 2005 from 6-8 P.M. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery # 1.
