Robert Medeiros

New Bedford- Robert Medeiros died Tuesday September 5, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital unexpectedly. He was husband of Rosalie (Reis) Medeiros of New Bedford. He was the father of Debra Gula and her husband Gary, Pamela Souza, Michelle and her husband Mark Mendes, Douglas Medeiros all from New Bedford, MA., and Anthony and his wife Chris Medeiros of Lakeland, FL. He was the brother of Kenneth Medeiros of Wareham, MA., Douglas Medeiros of Dartmouth, MA., Gary Medeiros of New Bedford, MA., Sandra Deus of New Bedford, MA., Patricia Amaral of Dartmouth, MA., and Beverly Medeiros of New Bedford, MA. He was the loved grandfather of Sixteen, and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Medeiros was the son of the late Anthony P. and Sisaltina (Souza) Medeiros. He was born in New Bedford MA., and lived here most of his life. He was a musician with several local bands,and a menber of U.E. Local # 277.
He worked as a cutter for Morse Cutting Tools and for 30 years, he was working as a security guard for Dartmouth Building Supplies.

Mr. Medeiros Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday September 9, 2006 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, New Bedford. In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated. Visiting hours will be Friday September 8, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. At the families request no flowers please.
