Rosalie Ann (Daluz) Gomes

Boston – Rosalie Ann (DaLuz) Gomes, age 72, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Tufts–New England Medical Center, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. She was the mother of Brenda Gomes of Fairhaven, grandmother of Blake Martin-Gomes and sister of Joseph DaLuz of Hyannis and Genevieve Lopes of Providence, R.I. as well as several nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Gomes was the sister of the late Paul and Franklin DaLuz and Julia Oliver.

Mrs. Gomes was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Almeida) DaLuz. She was born in Centerville, MA and lived in this area most of her life.

Mrs. Gomes’ funeral will be at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., Saturday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 A.M. Burial at St. John Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday from 5 - 8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.
