Beatrice M. Carvalho

New Bedford – Beatrice M, (Marques) Carvalho aged 85 yrs. passed away Friday August 18, 2006 at the Taber Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John F. Carvalho who passed away April 18, 1995 . Survivors include Her Sons David J. Carvalho and his companion Rose Vieira of New Bedford and Stephen Carvalho and his wife Shelley of No. Dartmouth a Grandson Jonathan S. Carvalho and a Sister Elsie Gonsalves and her Husband Agostinho of New Bedford

Mrs. Carvalho was born in New Bedford, MA., and lived here all of her life. She was a Daughter of the late Julio and Maria (Souza) Marques. She was formerly employed by Whistle Clean Laundry as a Presser. She loved to watch movies, go to restaurants and spend time with Her Grandson

Her funeral will be held Monday, August 21 2006 from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, on County St. at 9 A.M., Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery . Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5 to 8 PM.
