Dartmouth, Manuel J “Manny Morais aged 85 yrs, passed away Monday July 25, 2006, after a long illness. He was the Husband of Josephine ( DaSilva) Morais and the Father of Manuel J. Morais and his wife Gail of New Bedford 1 Grandaughter Leah K. Morais, a Brother Everista Neves of Newport, RI. A Sister in law Cecelia Belmarce Deceased Brother Eliutereo Morais, Deceased Sisters Palmeda do Rosario and Rosa Morais. Several Nieces and Nephews,

Mr. Morais was born in Horta, Fayal, Azores and lived in this area since December of 1954. He received his citizenship May 20, 1999 He was a Son of the late Eliutereo and Everista (Sousa) Morais. He was formerly employed as a Roofer with the former Considine Roofing.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated July 28, 2006 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be 6 to 9 P.M., on Thursday July 27, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
