Pedro D. Sanchez

New Bedford- Pedro D. Sanchez aged 73 of New Bedford passed away July 16,2006 at St. Lukles Hospital. He was survived by a Sister Mary R. Sylvia of New Bedford, Several Nieces, Nephews,Cousins and Godchildren. His deceased Siblings were Miguel, Joseph, Paulo, Francisco, Louis and William Sanchez, Clara Pontes and Irene Sanchez. He was born in New Bedford and lived here all his life. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Sanchez was a son of Theotonio and Roza (Monteiro) Sanchez. He was formerly employed as a Forman at Cornell Dubilier and He also worked at Aerovox.

Mr. Sanchez belonged to three clubs;The Portuguese Sports Club, The Ultramarine Band Club and the former Z Club. He was an avid N.Y. Yankee and Cleveland Browns Fan

. Visiting hours are Tuesday July 18, 2006 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home, Funeral will be Wednesday July 19, 2006 at 9 AM from the Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 10 AM. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery
