Herbert F. Miller Jr.

New Bedford- Herbert F. Miller Jr. age 58 died July 14, 2006 unexpectally at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Libaina M. “Libby” (Oliveira) Miller of New Bedford. He was the father of Paul Miller and his wife Anna of New Bedford, Jody Perry of New Bedford, and Laurie Motta and her husband John of New Bedford. He was survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Miller was the son of the late Herbert F. and Jane (Warton) Miller. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a dispatcher for Standard Taxi until his retirement. He was a Viet-Nam Veteran. He was a life member of the Viet-Nam Veterans of America Chapter # 499. He was a former member of the Washington Club. He loved taking family vacations, playing the guitar, and being with his family.

His Funeral Service will be Tuesday July 18, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Home at 11 A.M. Visitng Hours will be on Monday July 17, 2006 from 6 to 9 P.M. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.
