Albert J. "Casper" Marques Sr.

New Bedford-Albert J. “Casper” Marques Sr., died Friday, June 23, 2006, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford after a long illness. He was the father of Albert J. Marques Jr. of New Bedford, Elizabeth dos Santos of N. Dakota, Donna M. Cunha of New Bedford, Karen Nelson of N. Dartmouth and Charles Marques of Texas. He was the brother of Richard J. Marques and Dorothy Silva both form of New Bedford. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews, several other children, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and his uncle Sylvester Luce and aunt Louise Luce both of New Bedford.

Mr. Marques was born in New Bedford. He was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Luce) Marques. He lived in this area all of his life. He worked as for a fish cutter at John’s Seafood.

Mr. Marques visiting hours will be on Monday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. from 6-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
