Richard A. Santos

New Bedford-Richard A. Santos died Wednesday June 21, 2006 after a long illness. He was the father of Richard A. Santos Jr., Michael J. Santos, Reggie Greene, Robin R. Santos, Nadine B. Santos, Stephanie L. Santos all of New Bedford. He has a son Phillip. He was the brother of Joviene Deane of Onset, MA., and the late Manuel Santos Jr. He was also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 4 nephews, and a niece.

Mr. Santos was born in Acushet, at the Acushnet Hospital. He was the son of the late Manuel and Adeline (Andrews) Santos. He lived in this area most of his life. As a child he grew up in Mattapoisett. He was a Master Mechanic for the City of New Bedford.

Mr. Santos visiting hours will be on Sunday June 25, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. from 6-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
