Rosalina Carvalho

New Bedford – Rosalina Carvalho, aged 95, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at New Bedford Health Care and Rehab Center, after a long illness. She was the sister of Gilbert Carvalho and his wife Dot of Largo, Fla. She is survived by a niece Patricia (Oliveira) Farias and her husband Harold of S. Dartmouth and eight other nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and great nephews, and several great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Miss Carvalho was also the sister of the late Mary C. Oliveira, Sophie Vieira, Olive Correia and Joseph Carvalho and aunt of the late Rita Jadlowe.

Miss Carvalho was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Vieira) Carvalho . She was employed as a packer at Cornell Dubilier until her retirement. Mrs. Carvalho was an avid bingo player at Bishop Stang and at St. Anthony's Church. She knitted many sweaters and enjoyed babysitting for her loving family. She was also a great friend to everyone.

Miss Carvalho’s funeral services will take place Friday, at 10:30 AM at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend.
